About
Greg Philby has spent a career as a writer and editor at national and regional magazines, as well as creative director at marketing agencies and a large company. Despite this, he has always found time—and continues to still—to write music, novels, documentaries and poems, as well as short story collections, such as the foibles of small-town Sweet Angus, much to our chagrin. He creates much of his music and scribbles while on creative retreats in the woods, or on his Midwest screen porch, all pretty much under supervision of his dogs. Hence the site name. His music and his writings don’t stick to a genre or follow a path.
They chase whatever ideas rustle. Like a hike in the woods, unleashed.
Seriously: that should be enough about me.
This site is really about my work. I am just second hand.
If you're still curious, that's kinda on you.
However, I will soon add some random stuff here that may or more likely will not be helpful.
